My 9-year-old son is very slim and tall. He wears a size M (10-12) in these for the proper length. We have to pull the drawstring waist very tightly to fit him. He says they are really comfy, so I guess that’s all that really matters, especially since he’s wearing them only at home. Just know that these joggers are cut generously, and are not especially designed to fit a very slim child.
